Soundwalk around the campus

Before going out to get dinner, I thought it would be a perfect time to go out and take a soundwalk. It wasn’t too noisy or to quiet and I started walking from Safford. As I walked the most prominent noise I heard was the crickets’ sound. It was subtle while it filled the whole campus. I lost track once a while when I heard people talking here and there, but soon the crickets’ sound filled my ears again. As I got close to the sidewalk I could hear cars passing by but I could still hear sounds of the campus. As I tried to hear both sound out, maybe my imaginations, but I thought I heard a inter sound of wind between the campus’s sound and the street’s sound. It was as if the wind was a restriction between each sound. I came back near to the center of the campus and was walking near the back side of Wilder and I heard some classic music. It was so sudden, of how I was filling my ears with the cricket’s sound and my footsteps matching the rhythm, and I was humming along the classic music out of nowhere. I had been imagining in my head a field of grass and the image changed to people relaxing in beds. When I had gotten a bit far from Wilder, the crickets’ sound was back again and that all disappeared when I entered Blanchard. The soundwalk to me was like being in a play that kept changing it setting. Depending on the location I heard different sounds, my images to the sounds changed, and the play ended by closing the doors behind me in Blanch.
