Emma and her Collection in Context

Anthony established the National Woman Suffrage Association (NWSA) in 1869, Emma contributed to the cause in her own way. She was part of the Women’s Foreign Missionary Society of the Methodist church during her years in Japan, which supported women’s missions abroad.
