Emma and her (collection’s) Questionable Origins

Out of Emma’s collection, there are three works that may not have actually belonged to Emma and her collection. They stand out in their large sizes, works’ origins, and succession numbers used in the collection. One of them is of Mediterranean origin and it is unlikely that Emma acquired the piece during her travels– her routes may or may not match up. The other two are of Roman origin but they seem to be acquired in 1997 and are not as extensively detailed as the rest in the collection.
