Project 1: Movement, Continuation & Transformation Book<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMindset\u201d The concept of this book is to engage the reader on the different mindset the fixed mind set versus the Growth mindset. This book was inspired by the book Mindset by Dr. Carol S. Dweck. It talks about children and parent that raise different mindset kids: Positive mindset that set the kids to grow and keep learning. And on the other hand, the negative mindset that set the kids to be fixated unable to learn.
Format is hard cover with lights in it. I used one needle Coptic stitch to bind the book. For the signature I have alternated between 13 heavy watercolor paper, and thinner drawing paper. For the marks in the book and the writing I have used ink pen. For the cover I have used cardboard, heavy stone hinged black paper, heavy tracing paper, and LED twinkle lights.
Size: 5.5 inches by 5.5 Inches. Made in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe Connection\u201d The concept is to connect the past to the present from childhood to adulthood. This also Called Adverse Childhood Experience ACE. To explain more it connect the trauma a person went through in their childhood that still affect them as adults. The format of the book is double accordion book. Material: Acrylic heavy Paper, Gouache paint, Air dried clay used for the tiles, and bricks, Stickers, and wood used for the doors and windows. For the sketches I have used acrylic paint pins, and posca pens.
Size: 7 inches by 6.5 inches. Made in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Khan, The Cycle of Life, Tree Bark, Hand made paper, colored paper, dried mushroom, Acrylic pens, collaged paper, fabric, 7.5″ circle, 2022<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cCycle of Life\u201d This book is made in two versions: first one represents Life as it should be made with natural material such as tree bark, handmade paper, and dried mushrooms. Second book represent life as society paint it. Made with artificially colored paper, and synthetic fabric, and posca pens. Format is a circle books each can stand on their own or be a half circle that complete each other.
Circle size is 7.5 Inches. Folded into 4.5 inches as a quarter of a circle shape.
