Yogurt Drink: The yogurt in China is different from in the USA. It is not as thick and sweet.
While in Beijing, I definitely tried many different foods there. There are a particular few I already miss at the moment.
Across the street where KFC is, there are many places to eat. One of my favorite treats was:
(red bean inside; was sweet)
There are also really good spicy noodles (23yuan with soda) in the same area, but it can be very spicy and has the numbing feeling. You can tell the cashier how spicy you want it.
My favorite foods on campus were the meat buns, shao mai, and pancakes (had ham, spicy sauce, lettuce, etc wrapped; not regular pancakes we have for breakfast in the U.S.). Currently I do not have any nice pictures of these foods 🙁
In one of the malls in Zhongguancun (maybe the mall was called Z-Plaza?), there is one place where you can choose what you want. It was so delicious!
