Kipixe is the Spirit of Birth, also known as the Green One.
Appearance
One of the difficult Lantowolnt to recognize, she can take the form of several different humanoids that appear understated and easily overlooked. Her most frequently known appearances are that of an old midwife, a farmer’s wife, a child, or a dryad.
Worship
Her shrines are common in villages, particularly near fields and midwives’ houses. Worshippers seek her guidance for successful births and bountiful harvests and leave offerings of seeds, food, and birthing blood. Most frequently, expecting parents, midwives, and farmers offer her prayers.
She is honored during the Season Change from winter to spring, alongside Scylla. Additionally, she is worhsipped in a ritual used to invokes an ending to seek healing that calls on both Dabenu and Kipixe.
