The 13th Pirate King, Cleavant Jeronimo, was assassinated on the 19th of Yen in 1228 C.E. His killer was traced to a young, but skillful sailor who was poisoned the day after the Pirate King’s death. The poisoner was never found. This led to the factions of Yiradin, capitol of the Cinan Islands, laying blame on each other and beginning a civil war for the crown that lasts over two years.
