Appearance

Fey humanoid about two feet tall with wavy light blue hair down to her ankles, slightly too wide sea-green eyes. Her clothes appear to be kelp, and she walks barefoot. She prefers to communicate through dreams, but in haste she might whisper in her Ciboje’s mind.

Worship

Her main source of worship used to be pilgrims, particularly warriors, coming to Loga Lake1, where her power is said to reside, to seek her guidance. They would camp at the edge of the lake away from others, light a fire, offer an item of personal worth to the lake, and lie down to sleep. The item offered was something with connection to the worshipper seeking guidance, the subject they sought guidance on, or both and it had to be extremely important to the worshipper. Once asleep, if Arnar choose to grace the pilgrim with guidance, she would send them a dream. How the person interpreted the dream, was up to them.

Such pilgrimages are rare today and most of her worship comes instead from her roadside shrines. These shrines are built with basins or fountains of water into which a person could call on her aid or ask for rest and recovery against nightmares. Arnar is not a common figure in homes or villages except in temples dedicated to all the Lantowolnt.

She is honored during the Season Changes as one of the Children Guardians.

1 She used to have a temple, Gocobedayo, by Lago Lake hundreds of years ago before it was destroyed.

History

She is said to be one of the older Lantowolnt and gained favor when she gave guidance to Shards and the other first Ciboje in freeing the Spirit Children.
