Settlers from Strokec found a settlement, Gloff, in the Stron Mountains in 553 CE. In the year that followed, due to the distance and danger of maintaining contact, Strokec relinquishes control of the colony. Over the two decades, the colony expanded, until, in 578 CE, the citizens established themselves as an independent nation.
