This city in Strokec<\/a> sits at the head of the Flowers River<\/a> and, while the river in the San Mountains<\/a> is dangerous at the best of times to use for travel, it utilizes the road constructed next to the river as a trading route before using the river once it is safe enough to do so in the lower lands of the Cheala Valley<\/a> in Camantha<\/a>. Crono, unlike many other dwarven cities in the San Mountains<\/a> or the Stron Mountains<\/a> alike, is built on top of the mountain rather than in it. This is due to the incredibly hard rock, known as Truetanium<\/a>, in the area whose geographical source is still a debate among scholars. Those who are able to successfully make objects from the material are hailed as some of the best craftspeople.
