In the year that followed, due to the distance and danger of maintaining contact, <a href=\"https:\/\/commons.mtholyoke.edu\/eastedinose\/strokec\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"165\">Strokec<\/a> relinquishes control of the colony.
