Unlike most other cities and towns in this nation, Dale actually has one major distinguishing feature: a fort. While <a href=\"https:\/\/commons.mtholyoke.edu\/eastedinose\/chean\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"112\">Chiyan<\/a> peacefully split from <a href=\"https:\/\/commons.mtholyoke.edu\/eastedinose\/bakianna\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"108\">Bakianna<\/a> (see <a href=\"https:\/\/commons.mtholyoke.edu\/eastedinose\/founding-of-chiyan\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"2033\">Founding of Chiyan<\/a>) it has never quite trusted the tyrannical neighbor and so built the fort along the major roadway leading from <a href=\"https:\/\/commons.mtholyoke.edu\/eastedinose\/bakianna\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"108\">Bakianna<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/commons.mtholyoke.edu\/eastedinose\/chean\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"112\">Chiyan<\/a>.
