First, he holds the only council seat in <a href=\"https:\/\/commons.mtholyoke.edu\/eastedinose\/chean\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"112\">Chiyan<\/a> that is not decided by election from the wealthy. The seat he has is called the Warrior Lord&#8217;s seat and is mostly ceremonial. It is given to the best warrior in the land which is determined by a contest every five years. However, this position remains on the council for the mere fact that the Warrior Lord is in charge of the small, but highly mobile, <a href=\"https:\/\/commons.mtholyoke.edu\/eastedinose\/chean\/\" data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"112\">Chiyan<\/a> military and is often given far more power in times of trouble.
