The capital of Hapina<\/a> sits at the head of the Silver River<\/a> in the Helina Mountains<\/a>. While it is too far upriver for the water to be used as a means of transportation, the final over land trek is well maintained. This is not the only route to Veorron though. Several mountain passes are used to navigate the Helina Mountains<\/a> to get to Mel<\/a> and Arelti<\/a>. Historically, these were used to transport slaves yet more frequently they, or new routes through the rough terrain, are used by escaping slaves, freedom fighters, and the armies of Hapina<\/a> or Mel<\/a> marching to each other’s aid. Veorron was not directly involved in instigating the war but increased use of the trade route up the Silver River<\/a> to Veorron caused tensions to flair and eventually led to the Second Slavery War<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
