Blake, 1913<br \/>\n(ASCMHC, Marion Blake Papers)<\/p>\n<p>The fiftieth anniversary of Marion Blake\u2019s death (on the first of September 2011) passed without notice at Mount Holyoke College, which is perhaps not surprising, given how few traces she left of the years she spent there, first as a student and later, after she completed her graduate work at Cornell University, as a faculty member of the Department of Greek.
