Letter by Josette Ngan-Hoa Huynh, class of 1969, to Hwei-Ming Boey, class of 1980. From Mount Holyoke Alumnae Quarterly, Spring 1981.

Above is a letter by Josette Ngan-Hoa Huynh, class of 1969, to Hwei-Ming Boey, class of 1980, in which Huynh writes about her adjustment after returning home from Mount Holyoke, January 1, 1981. Hwei-Ming Boey, class of 1982 and from Malaysia, initiated a project called “Home Once Again,” in which she wrote to alumnae who had been international students at Mount Holyoke, asking about the nature of their adjustment to Mount Holyoke and their adjustment after returning home. Huynh was among the 50 out of 354 alums who responded. The Spring 1981 Mount Holyoke Alumnae Quarterly published Boey’s project.
