This modern A-frame cabin in Gundagai, Australia is run as a temporary rental by Kimo Estate. The design is an entirely open concept with a wall of windows on one end, giving views of the surrounding hillsides.
Additionally, half of the other side of the cabin is glass, enabling someone from one side of the building to see all the way through to the other side of the cabin.
I really enjoy the clean lines of this a-frame. The cabin has struck a pleasing balance between more traditional, rustic a-frames, and very modern ones. Another reason why I enjoy this cabin is that the a-frame’s triangular style mimics the shapes of the surrounding hills.
