Remote Norwegian Cabins

These cabins, located in Soddatjørn, Norway, on the Rogaland Hiking Trail, are only accessible by hiking in or helicopter and are available to members of the Stavanger Trekking Association. The collection of small cabins was designed by KOKO architects, with minimalism and function in mind. The main purpose of these buildings is being weatherproof.

The Skåpet huts are not hotels, but small dwellings intended for people on hiking trips to rest and spend the night in. A large emphasis in these dwellings is placed on the beautiful scenery surrounding them, so each hut has a two story wall of windows facing out onto the landscape.
