For the last project, I want to look back to my starting point – the butterfly project. For this time, I want to combine the beauty, elegance, and fluidity of wings and fins and the rhythm of the dance movement, which has a deeper interaction between the user and the product.
Hence I want to introduce the final project: “Aerolithe”. With “wearing” the large wings of transparent linen texture on their arms, the dancer will have the bender and tilt sensor as the output, and LED strips hidden inside the frame of wings will also shine with different colors with different speeds correspondingly. The whole project would bring better stage effects to the audience.
For the budget, mostly it will be spent on the cloth and decorations. LED strips and nails and nuts (to hold the wings in place) can all be found in the Fimbel lab.
