This tutorial with properly show you how to import footage into Adobe Premiere Pro with no risk of losing your content!
1. Put your SD card into the computer
2. Open your “Movies” folder
3. Create a subfolder named after your project, i.e. “Object Study”
4. Drag footage from SD card into your project subfolder, i.e. “Object Study”
***DO NOT drag footage into Premiere directly from SD card! You MUST save it to your computer first and import from there.
5. After footage copies to your folder, right click the SD card on your desktop and press “eject”.
6. Pull SD card out of computer and put away in your folder in the back of the classroom
7. Open Adobe Premiere Pro 2018
8. Click File > Import
9. Select your projects media from your project subfolder
10. Wait for media to import- you’re done!
