This tutorial with properly show you how to import footage into Adobe Premiere Pro with no risk of losing your content!<\/p>\n

1. Put your SD card into the computer<\/p>\n

2. Open your \u201cMovies\u201d folder<\/p>\n

3. Create a subfolder named after your project, i.e. \u201cObject Study\u201d<\/p>\n

\n4. Drag footage from SD card into your project subfolder, i.e. \u201cObject Study\u201d
\n***DO NOT drag footage into Premiere directly from SD card! You MUST save it to your computer first and import from there.<\/strong><\/p>\n

5. After footage copies to your folder, right click the SD card on your desktop and press \u201ceject\u201d.<\/p>\n

\n6. Pull SD card out of computer and put away in your folder in the back of the classroom<\/p>\n

7. Open Adobe Premiere Pro 2018<\/p>\n

8. Click File > Import<\/p>\n
