In order to avoid black bars in the sides of your iMovie video, you must use the correct aspect ratio for your project. When the phone is &#8220;portrait&#8221;, the video is recorded in 4:3 ratio. After clicking \u24b7, you can move around the rectangle to decide which portion of the video you want to show.
