Copying tracks onto your computer<\/b><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
1. Use the USB cable provided with the recorder to connect it to your computer. The<\/div>\n
recorder\u2019s USB port is located behind a door in the bottom of the recorder:<\/div>\n
<\/a><\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
2. If the Recorder isn\u2019t on already, power it on.<\/div>\n
3. If you are a Mac user: A drive icon labeled No Name will appear on the desktop.<\/div>\n
Double-click on it to open and you\u2019ll see all of the tracks you\u2019ve recorded.<\/div>\n
If you are a PC user: A message bubble will appear in the Windows Task tray<\/div>\n
(lower right hand corner of the Desktop) saying that Windows has detected new<\/div>\n
hardware then, after a moment, that the new hardware has been installed.<\/div>\n
Eventually a window displaying the contents of the recorder will appear.<\/div>\n
In both cases note: Aside from your tracks which will be named similar to<\/div>\n
R09_0001.MP3, R09_0002.MP3, etc.<\/div>\n
4. Click and drag your tracks onto your computer Desktop or into a folder.<\/div>\n
5. Once you\u2019re finished copying tracks onto your computer, you\u2019ll want to disconnect it<\/div>\n
from your computer.<\/div>\n
If you are a Mac user: Drag the No Name disk icon to the Trash to eject it.<\/div>\n
If you are a PC user: Double click on the \u201cSafely remove hardware icon\u201d in the<\/div>\n
Windows task tray (green arrow located toward the lower right hand corner of the<\/div>\n
Desktop). A window will open showing \u201cUSB mass storage device\u201d item. Click on<\/div>\n
the Stop button. In the next window click on the OK button.<\/div>\n
In both cases: Disconnect the USB cable from the computer and recorder.<\/div>\n

Clearing the memory on the recorder<\/b><\/div>\n
1. Push the menu button and use the down arrow to highlight \u201c8 SD Card,\u201d (please refer<\/div>\n
to steps 4 through 6 in the \u201cCheck the recorder settings,\u201d portion described above.<\/div>\n

2. Use navigation arrows and control panel to select \u201c2 Format,\u201d and confirm \u201cYes,\u201d that<\/div>\n
you want to delete all the material in the memory.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
