Loose Change, Loose Teeth, interactive sculpture, carved soap in plastic vending machine capsules, 1″ diameter x 1.25″ height, 2020
Loose Change, Loose Teeth is an exploration of means of exchange. This project combines the idea of trading childhood teeth for money from the Tooth Fairy, and trading money for vending machine toys. Plastic vending machine toys are swapped with creepy, organic, soap teeth. Each of the five new capsules was either sold, gifted, exchanged, or hidden back in the vending machine for some unsuspecting person to find.
