Krudas Cubensi <\/strong>\u00a0– \u201cOdaymara Cuesta and Olivia Prendes are Cuban Hip Hop MCs, Independent Musicians, Poets, Theater Performers, Educators representing Womyn, Immigrants, Queers and People of Color Action as a Central Part of World Change. They choose the art as a weapon to fight against oppression, for justice, for balance, for our rights, to celebrate the life. \u201c<\/span>Kavindu Ade<\/strong> i<\/span>s a 24 year old Wordsmith, Jedi, and Black Boy Extraordinaire. Born in Brooklyn, NY to Afro-Caribbean immigrants his poetry is a dance between cultures. While best known for his gender identity poem entitled<\/span> \u2018<\/span>IT<\/span><\/a>,\u2019 Kavi\u2019s work centers on his navigation of intersecting identities – among those, the relation of his Blackness to his transcendence of gender.\u201d –<\/span> awqwardtalent.com<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n

Alison Kafer<\/strong> is a feminist, queer, and disability studies theorist and activist, as well as the author of <\/span>Feminist, Queer, Crip<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIn<\/span> Feminist, Queer, Crip<\/span><\/i> Alison Kafer imagines a different future for disability and disabled bodies. Challenging the ways in which ideas about the future and time have been deployed in the service of compulsory able-bodiedness and able-mindedness, Kafer rejects the idea of disability as a pre-determined limit. She juxtaposes theories, movements, and identities such as environmental justice, reproductive justice, cyborg theory, transgender politics, and disability that are typically discussed in isolation and envisions new possibilities for crip futures and feminist\/queer\/crip alliances.
