Everything went well. The duckiebot can lane-follow only when the yellow mark on its left. There were a few times that the bots went off course, but most of the time they were able to stay on the lane. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working on Brateinberg Challenge from duckietown learning experiences<br>&#8211; [<em>what went well<\/em>]<br>I was able to open up the dts code editor, and then I was able work on all three notebooks in the online vscode. They were computer vision and object detection related exercises. They were about manipulating images and adding RGB\/HSV filters to images so that duckies can be detected. The last notebook was the most challenging. I had a hard time understanding what the task was and what I had to do. It was basically asking us to create a matrix that will be part of an equation that determines whether the left and right wheels should go forward or backwards (or at least this is how I understood it). <br>Then, after running into more bugs, I was finally able to do a <code>dts code workbench --sim<\/code>  after updating my duckietown token in my terminal to a dt1 version (it is currently a dt2 version) and logging into docker again and re-running <code>docker run hello-world <\/code>to confirm. <br>I saw the simulation but I am not sure if it should be a static view. I don&#8217;t think it should be but I am not sure if that is because of my code or because the simulation was not working properly<br>[<em>What did not go well]<\/em><br>I ran into errors when I tried to do <code>dts code evaluate <\/code>and <code>dts code submit<\/code> . Ellen also had the same type of error when she was trying to submit the very first challenge. I looked through stack overflow and found one similar question back in 2023. The reply was that the server was down. It could be the same issue. We discussed the summary, the strengths and the weaknesses of each paper. We did spend a lot more time on the check-in then it should be. We had a lot of questions, and that helped me learn more about what was happening in the robotics motion planning field and what basic knowledge we should have about it.
