I have spent more hours than I expected in understanding the problem of the Collision Checker. Here is my understanding: <br>&#8211; There will be a list of <strong>Placed Primitive Objects <\/strong>which are either (to be updated later)<br> <br>It also took me more time to figure out the solution to the problem. <br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I discussed the possibility of using duckietown&#8217;s environment for our specific use cases with Professor Diane.<br>We will have to set up a meeting with the people from duckietown about integrating our own packages into duckietown. <br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I read some papers by searching online to learn the differences between motion planning and path planning <br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I started the Reinforcement Learning chapter of the edx course out of curiosity. <\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:300\">day2_jul30<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To-Do today: <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Submit Planning I<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Move on to Planning II<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Progress:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Discussed tasks for the Fall 24 semester. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\" style=\"font-style:normal;font-weight:300\">day1_jul29<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">To-Do this week: <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Work on Planning II exercise<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Planning I exercise<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Developer Manual<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Estimation + Localization, Reinforcement Learning sections in edx<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Week 9: Hopefully start designing algorithms for individual robot motion planning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Progress:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Today was spent figuring out Planning I exercise on collision checking.
