{"id":132,"date":"2018-03-27T18:44:11","date_gmt":"2018-03-27T18:44:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/commons.mtholyoke.edu\/theaccessibletoolbox\/?page_id=132"},"modified":"2024-04-25T14:32:56","modified_gmt":"2024-04-25T14:32:56","slug":"toolbox","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/commons.mtholyoke.edu\/theaccessibletoolbox\/materials\/toolbox\/","title":{"rendered":"The 3D Toolkit- get one free!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>If you instruct students who are blind or visually impaired or have a learning disability, you&#8217;ll want to use as many tactile materials as possible to help create an optimal learning experience for them.\u00a0 Researching and collecting these tools is time consuming and costly, so we created a kit for you.<\/p>\n<h5><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>The 3D toolkit for students with visual impairments contains:<\/strong><\/span><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>1 Braille label maker<\/li>\n<li>1 deck of Braille playing cards<\/li>\n<li>10 sheets of Braille graphing paper<\/li>\n<li>20 sticky back foam sheets (6 inch x 9 inch)<\/li>\n<li>24 Wikki Stix<\/li>\n<li>3 hardboard distributions (positively skewed, negatively skewed &amp; normal).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-291\" src=\"https:\/\/commons.mtholyoke.edu\/theaccessibletoolbox\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/426\/2018\/08\/IMG_1709-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"604\" height=\"453\" srcset=\"https:\/\/commons.mtholyoke.edu\/theaccessibletoolbox\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/426\/2018\/08\/IMG_1709-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/commons.mtholyoke.edu\/theaccessibletoolbox\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/426\/2018\/08\/IMG_1709-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/commons.mtholyoke.edu\/theaccessibletoolbox\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/426\/2018\/08\/IMG_1709-768x576.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 604px) 100vw, 604px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The estimated value of the kit is $80 but, with generous funding from the <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><a style=\"color: #0000ff\" href=\"https:\/\/www.psychologicalscience.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Association for Psychological Science<\/a><\/span> and continued support from the Mount Holyoke College Department of Psychology &amp; Education, we are able to offer <strong>FREE<\/strong> kits to instructors who request one!
