It automatically hits and deals 1d4 force damage plus force damage equal to half your Proficiency Score. When casting this spell, you can increase the casting by a Material Casting action, a Somatic Casting action, or both. For each action you take, increase the number of missiles you shoot by one. You choose the target for each missile individually.
