On a successful save you possess the target but cannot control it and only ride along in its body while the spell last. On a failure you possess the target and take partial control of it. Both you and the target can spend actions using the target\u2019s body. On a critical failure you possess the target and take total control so that only you can spend actions using the target\u2019s body and the target can only watch as you manipulate it like a puppet. You can choose to take the effects of a higher degree of success on the part of the target\u2019s Will save if you prefer. While you are possessing a target, your true body has the Unconscious condition and cannot wake up normally.
