If the saving throw is a success, it becomes a critical success but if the saving throw is a failure, it becomes a critical failure. A critical failure when using Tempt Fate, even one that is turned into a critical failure, cannot be reduced by any abilities that usually reduce the effects, such as Improved Evasion.
