The Athletics check must be made each round the effect is maintained. In addition, the powerful force of the geyser deals 2d8 bludgeoning damage per round to a creature that is subjected to it. The geyser can only affect one target per round, but the user can direct the beam of water in a single action that is part of the Athletics check without making any attack roll. Creatures with the fire tag take double damage from the Geyser. The command word can be spoken as a free action to stop it.
