If you target a tree, this spell gains the plant tag. Once cast, the animal or tree gains awareness, increasing its Intelligence and Charisma Ability Scores by 6, to a minimum of 8. If it is a tree, it gains an ability to move its roots, branches, vines, and so forth with a Speed of 20 feet. The target also gains the ability to speak one language you chose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The target becomes friendly towards you and follows all your instructions. If the target was hostile or unfriendly towards you when you cast the spell, you must make a Spell Attack with a DC equal to 15 + the target\u2019s CR or the spell is lost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">If you awaken another animal or tree, the previous awakened animal or tree remains sentient but no longer follows your instructions unless it wishes to do so.
