Aiesha Thomas, artist name “thenaturalartist”, is a self taught Carribean-American artist from Bronx, New York. Graduating from Mount Holyoke College, she studied Studio Art to expand her knowledge of art. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thomas best describes herself as an experimentalist artist, that specializes in painting, graphic design, and digital art. Thomas’s preferred mediums are Photoshop, acrylic paint on canvas, and Procreate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thomas’ works are presented in different forms, but consistently represent something of value. Outside of commissions, Thomas’ works personify concealed human emotions through experimenting with different mediums. Thomas’ believes that artwork serves as an important value to human life, communicating to the eyes what cannot be verbally expresssed. Portraying simple and vague arts allow more room for interpretation while confining the audience to minimal information. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout various pieces of her work, she does not have expectations for how the audience members will react. She relishes in the various reactions that are conjured by the audience; however, she aims to inspire audience members to exit the boundaries of their minds and find new ways to communicate with the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
