I try it, evaluate what works best, and then I track back my steps and journal what I did. Even when I was in high school, I did the same thing. In my physics class, I would complete the assignment, change the part that was not working, and lastly, I would write down my materials, procedure, evaluation, and conclusion. It seemed to always work, but now it is completely different, I have to make sure I complete my assignments by the set deadline. I have to plan my steps, estimate how much time I will need, and then begin to work. In order to do this, I have noticed that writing stuff down in a notebook and checking it every day helps me stay organized. Something I would like to try for future projects is to set a timer because I tend to just stare at my screen for hours until I get in the right mind set and then I spend too much time on a certain assignment. I think I will stimulate my mind with something prior to doing work and set a timer to give myself breaks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I prefer to write down my plans on paper rather than in my phone or online because I will most likely forget or ignore it. I have tried creating an excel spreadsheet before, but it only helped for very little time. I know that the instructors will remind me of what needs to be done, but often times I will also forget to do it. From now on I will try to work on assignments early in the morning. I am more of a night owl; therefore, I tend to stay up late (2 or 3 am). If the steps I try do not work, I will try something different until I find something effective. It has to be a method that allows me to find a flexible schedule and get my work done, but also something that won’t be so stressful.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
When beginning a new project, I usually do the opposite what is advised.
