I first discovered Jacob Witzling’s cabins on Instagram. A photographer who I followed posted pictures at the Octagonal Cabin and I had to find out more because the cabin was just so beautiful. Witzling’s cabin designs are all unique, this particular one has an octagonal floor, French doors, beautiful wood, and a footprint under 200 square feet. Witzling’s cabins are built to be off the grid, and close to nature, which is embodied in the use of moss in creating a “green roof.”
