I initially wanted to do a soft circuit, but I was not able to find the conductive thread. Along this process, my failures were: miscalculating the distance where the coper tape would enter into the fabric, did not leave enough space between the LED lights, and cutting the coper tape too short, which meant the eyes for the pumpkin would be too low. My successes were identifying the positive and negative sides, being able to successfully light up the LED lights, and not causing a short circuit.

Reflection
As I mentioned in my previous reflection, I was quite confident in this specific project because I had knowledge of circuits. Which led me to believed that I would have no difficulties, however, most of my mistakes were based on distance miscalculations. I was more focused on making sure there was no short circuit and creating a clear path for the current rather than my measurements. I also waited until the last minute to work on it because I was confident that it would work, but even if I have high self-efficacy in a certain subject, I realized that I should not procrastinate. For future project I will make sure to reach out for help because I am no expert.
Thinking back on past activities, most times I tend to embrace and stick to it, no matter my level of self-efficacy. When I am out of my comfort zone or feel challenged, I will struggle more and think about dropping them. However, after reaching out and asking for guidance, I feel more confident and will continue to work on these projects. A recent example would be dropping out of my Chinese level 2 class. Though I took the placement test and I felt confident the first few days, I realized that level 2 was too advanced for me. I only understood certain phrases and words; I would be lost for half of the class trying to decipher what the teacher wanted me to do. So, I decided to transfer to level 1, to review things I have forgotten and learn stuff I missed during high school. Thinking back, it was a great choice because I would rather review concepts than struggle with assignments I will not understand. Initially, I wanted to drop this course as well because I am not great with technology stuff, but I decided to stay because I think it’s interesting and I get to learn new things.
