Our show proposal process as recently changed. Before, it was the case that members of the organization could only propose a show if they had already formed a “Big Four” group (director, stage manager, producer, and technical director). Now, however, anyone can propose a show! The proposal form is opened at the end of each semester, and the board will choose the submissions they think would work best for our membership. From there, the decision will be put up to a general vote.
After the show(s) for the coming semester have been decided, the board will open the application for the Big Four positions, and after a round of interviews, the Big Four of the show(s) will be chosen. Then the Big Four will decide upon audition dates, rehearsal schedules, and performance dates.
