Mai-Anh Ha, PhD, BA MHC ’13 investigates catalysis through electronic structure studies on a variety of technologically relevant materials at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.

Saryu Fensin, PhD, BA MHC ’06 has a research group in materials science and shock physics at Los Alamos National labs. Her innovative work has gotten many accolades.

Paul Grabowski, PhD, BA Vassar ’03 investigates high energy density phenomena using density functional theory and other computational tools at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

Demian Riccardi, PhD, BA Vassar ’00 specializes in multi-scale modeling of a variety of condensed phases in the Thermodynamics Research Center at the National Institute of Standards.

Valentino R. Cooper, PhD, BA Vassar ’00 leads a dynamic group at Oakridge National Laboratories focused on driving materials innovation through theory and computation. Valentino is head of the Materials Theory, Modeling and Simulations section of the Materials Science and Technology Division.
