The Alumnae Advisory Board, a board consisting of Mount Holyoke graduates who worked in journalism and other related fields, was created during the 1992-1993 academic year. An annual conference of the Alumnae Advisory Board was also started at this time. The alumnae advisors helped students with the creation of a style book in the 1990s as well as the design of a new logo in 2008. With the help of those with professional newspaper experience, The Mount Holyoke News was a far cry from its amateur start.
