Vendredi matin, j’ai pris le petit déjeuner avec Maman et Papa Ngougo à la maison. Pendant le petit déjeuner, nous avons discuté de mes premières semaines au Cameroun et Papa Ngougo m’a dit avec enthousiasme « Tu es une vraie Africaine ! » À la fin du petit déjeuner, Mama et Papa Ngougo m’ont dit que je dois inviter ma famille à rester avec nous chez Ngougo.

Friday morning, I ate breakfast with my host parents at our home. During breakfast, we discussed my first weeks in Cameroon and my host dad told me enthusiastically, “Now you are a real African!” particularly referring to how well I’ve adapted to eating the local foods. At the end of breakfast, my host mom and dad told me I should invite all my family in the U.S. to come to Cameroon and stay with us at their house.
