About the Forge System
The Forge System came to exist after many conversations with friends and family about other systems, their benefits and drawbacks. It was noted during these conversations that the class-based structure of so many other systems made it difficult for players who came into the game with a pre-set character concept that did not fit into the classes easily. For a couple years, these discussions remained just that until there came a point when a final conversation started the creation of this system. It has gone through so many edits, from magic rules that mimicked the Slayersd20 system to a far more complicated traits section that divided traits into features and talents. The system is still a work in progress that is being added to daily and continues to be playtested.
