Scrolls

Scrolls, being one spell and one-use items, are relatively simple and comparatively cheap. To cast a spell from a scroll, you either must have the Spellcasting trait or succeed a Flat DC 12 check. Once used, whether the Flat DC is successful or not, the scroll is destroyed.

You can also read a scroll, taking 10 minutes, and using an Arcana check against the listed Read DC, to learn the spell. If successful, you can add the spell to the list of already known spells and mark off the required trait points. A scroll takes two hands to use.
