When attached to a shield, this rune causes the shield to emit a faint glow. Once per 24 hours, as an action, you can command your shield to change into Radiance From.
In Radiance Form, your shield becomes fragments of pure light surrounding you that cast bright light in a 20-foot radius followed by another 20-feet of low light. You continue to have your shield bonus, but you no longer are counted as using your hands to wield the shield. Your shield remains in Radiance Form for a minute, until you dismiss the form as a Free Action, or you gain the Unconscious or Dead Conditions. When ending Radiance Form, your shield reforms in a free hand or at your feet, if you do not have a free hand.
Unless otherwise listed, a radiance rune is a very rare item.
