Condition: Broken

An object is unusable.

    Effects:

    • The object cannot be used for its normal function or grant bonuses, unless otherwise stated.
    • The object’s penalties and limitations, if any, still apply.

    Situations:

    • If a Broken object takes any damage in excess of its Hardness score, it is destroyed.
    • If the object is armor…
      • Light Armor reduced the Armor Bonus by 1.
      • Medium Armor reduced the Armor Bonus by 2.
      • Heavy Armor reduced the Armor Bonus by 3.
    • If an object without this condition gains a number of Dents equal to its Toughness score, it gains this condition.

    Ends:

    • The object is repaired with a successful Craft check.
