  • Trigger: you take damage that has one of the following tags: acid, cold, electricity, or fire
  • Duration: 1 round per Proficiency Score (D)

With a flick of your hand, you ward off potential damage. Reduce the damage with the triggering tag by 5. This spell gains the triggering tag and you gain Resistance 5 against the triggering tag for the duration of the spell. As a free action, when making a Melee Attack, you can expend this spell to deal a number of d6s damage with the triggering tag equal to half your Proficiency Score. The spell ends early if you apply the extra damage. Absorb Elements is on the Arcane and Primal Spell Lists.
