After performing this spell, you gain the help of a magical familiar as long as you currently do not have a familiar. This familiar can take the shape of the listed familiars in Animal Companions, Familiars, and Mounts and has the same base statistics. This familiar appears with one of the Mount Templates along with one ability from the Spell Imbued or Spell Linked Animal Traits.

Like other familiars, this one has two actions which it takes on your turn. While it can take any other action normal for a familiar of its shape, it cannot make any Strike actions. As an action, you can call or dismiss this familiar into a pocket dimension accessible only to it. Calling your familiar, causes it to appear in a space within 30 feet from you. A familiar vanishes into its pocket dimension if it is ever more than 100 feet from you.

If your familiar drops to 0 hit points, it disappears until you cast this spell again. You can also permanently dismiss your familiar which has the same effect as if it dropped to 0 hit points. Every time you cast this spell; you can select a different shape for the familiar to take. Call Familiar is on the Arcane Spell List.

Heighten (+1): For each Spell Slot of the Heightened Spell Levels (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10), you can add another ability from either the Spell Imbued or Spell Linked lists.

Level 2 Spell Slot. The familiar has 2 abilities either from the Spell Imbued or Spell Linked list.

Level 3 Spell Slot. The familiar has 3 abilities either from the Spell Imbued or Spell Linked list.

Level 4 Spell Slot. The familiar has 4 abilities either from the Spell Imbued or Spell Linked list.

Level 5 Spell Slot. The familiar has 5 abilities either from the Spell Imbued or Spell Linked list.

Level 6 Spell Slot. The familiar has 6 abilities either from the Spell Imbued or Spell Linked list.

Level 7 Spell Slot. The familiar has 7 abilities either from the Spell Imbued or Spell Linked list.

Level 8 Spell Slot. The familiar has 8 abilities either from the Spell Imbued or Spell Linked list.

Level 9 Spell Slot. The familiar has 9 abilities either from the Spell Imbued or Spell Linked list.

Level 10 Spell Slot. The familiar has 10 abilities either from the Spell Imbued or Spell Linked list.
