Erase removes the writing on the written work or attempts to dispel an effect that can be dispelled with the Erase spell. Any writing without the magical tag automatically vanishes as if it never existed. If the written work, or part of the writing, has the magical tag, Erase attempts to dispel it. If the dispel is successful, the effect with the magical tag ceases to function permanently. Erase is on the Arcane and Occult Spell Lists.
