After performing this spell, you gain the help of a magical steed as long as you currently do not have a mount. This mount can take the shape of any listed mount in Animal Companions, Familiars, and Mounts and has the same base statistics. This steed appears with one of the Mount Templates.

Like other mounts, this one has two actions which it takes on your turn. While it can take any other action normal for a familiar of its shape, it cannot make any Strike actions.

If your steed drops to 0 hit points or is more than 10 miles away from you, it disappears until you cast this spell again. You can also permanently dismiss your mount which has the same effect as if it dropped to 0 hit points. Every time you cast this spell you can select a different shape for the steed to take. Heighten (+2): Using a Level 4 Spell Slot and higher, you can include the mount in any spell you cast that has you as the target.
