If you hit, you deal a number of d4s acid damage equal to half your Proficiency Score to your target and 1 splash damage with the acid tag for each damage die to all adjacent creatures. On a critical hit, the target also takes 1d4 Persistent Damage with the acid tag. Acid Splash is on all Spell Lists.
